Rogé Bastide

Rogé Bastide est le projet de deux horlogers.

Nous travaillons tous les deux à plein temps dans l’horlogerie. Rogé Bastide existe en dehors de ces heures : le soir et les week-⁠ends.

Il n’y a ni calendrier de lancement, ni collection à alimenter.

Nous fabriquons quelques montres à la fois, généralement trois à cinq. Elles sont entièrement terminées avant d’être présentées et proposées, sans commande préalable.

Lorsqu’elles ont trouvé leurs propriétaires, nous retournons à l’atelier et recommençons.

À notre rythme, cela représente environ dix pièces par an.

Rogé Bastide avance ainsi, simplement, au rythme des pièces que nous réalisons. Nous préférons laisser les montres raconter le reste.

L’auteur s’efface, l’œuvre demeure.

Rogé Bastide is the project of two watchmakers.

We both work full-time in watchmaking. Rogé Bastide exists outside those hours: in the evenings and at weekends.

There is no launch calendar, no collection to keep up with.

We make a few watches at a time, usually three to five. Each one is entirely finished before being presented and offered, without taking orders in advance.

Once they have found their owners, we return to the workshop and start on the next pieces.

At our pace, this amounts to around ten pieces a year.

This is simply how Rogé Bastide works, at the pace of the pieces we make. We prefer to let the watches tell the rest.
